TEC International Honors Iowa Business Leader; Terry Slinde of Des Moines Wins Chair Excellence Award

Business Wire, Nov 11, 2005

SAN DIEGO -- TEC International recently named Terry Slinde of Executive Growth LLC in Des Moines the recipient of the Chair Excellence Award. The honor is presented annually to a select group of TEC chairpersons, who have provided exceptional value to their group members.

TEC International, the world's largest CEO membership organization, represents more than $307 billion in annual revenues and more than 1.8 million employees of companies in 16 countries worldwide.

Prior to joining TEC, Slinde worked 25 years for both non-profit and for profit sectors as an experienced administrator, problem solver, and strategic planner. His background is extensive and varied, with a strong track record in training, team building, group dynamics, crisis management, counseling, and executive development. Slinde joined TEC in 2000 and currently leads two groups in the Des Moines area.

"While every TEC Chair is committed to making a positive difference for his or her members, occasionally the performance of a Chair rises to a level that stands out from the crowd," said Rafael Pastor, CEO and Chairman of the Board for TEC. "For these reasons, we were pleased to honor Terry Slinde."

Pastor made the remarks at the recent 2005 International Leaders Conference held in Washington, D.C.
