This most recent study comes on the heels of a companion study, IntelliQuest CIMS Business Study 2005, which measures readership of print publications. Findings of this study show CIO magazine reaches more chief information officers (CIOs) than any other publication measured.
"The recent IntelliQuest study builds upon last year's impressive performance, clearly demonstrating CIO.com and CIO magazine's value as the leading vehicles for reaching today's IT decision-makers," says Gary Beach, Publisher of CIO magazine. "In our extremely competitive business environment, executives need to justify every dollar spent. With the evidence reported by IntelliQuest CIMS, it's clear that when advertisers partner with CIO magazine and CIO.com they reach the most influential IT buyers."
Adds Michael Friedenberg, CEO of CXO Media Inc., "Be it print or online, CIO magazine delivers the highest coverage and composition of CIOs of any of its competitors. Our ability to capture this elusive target demonstrates our unyielding commitment to editorial excellence and circulation quality."
The study also determines CIO.com is the number one ranked Web site among all sites measured for median IT spending in the following categories: systems, desktop PCs/workstations, notebook/tablet PCs, servers, software, operating systems, printers/peripherals, printers, printing supplies, desktop/notebook add-ons, data storage, networking products and IT services.
