New IntelliQuest Study Shows CIO.com Reaches the Most CIOs; CIO.com and CIO Magazine Lead Competition in CIO Coverage and Composition

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- IDG's CXO Media, the company that produces CIO magazine and www.CIO.com, reports CIO.com delivers more CIOs and IT managers than any of its competitors measured in the IntelliQuest CIMS 2005 Business Online Behavior Study (see tables below). The annual study reports CIO.com is the highest ranking site among all 115 web sites measured for total median planned IT expenditures with a 239% lead over the number two ranking web site. In addition, the study reveals CIO.com attracts the highest concentration of CIOs and other IT managers by a significant margin.

This most recent study comes on the heels of a companion study, IntelliQuest CIMS Business Study 2005, which measures readership of print publications. Findings of this study show CIO magazine reaches more chief information officers (CIOs) than any other publication measured.
