AlphaTrade Offers First-Ever Multi-Lingual Slate of Financial Applications for BlackBerry and Palm as Stand-Alone Product; ''Jupiter'' Now Enables Users to Modify Their Portfolios from Desktop and Wireless Devices
Business Wire, Nov 29, 2005
VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- AlphaTrade (OTCBB:APTD), a global provider of customized real-time financial information for professional, institutional and individual investors, announced today that "Jupiter," the first-ever multi-lingual slate of financial applications for wireless devices -- accessible in English, Chinese, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese -- is now available as a stand-alone product. Users will now be able to modify their portfolios from both E-Gate (desktop) and their wireless device, a feature not previously available.
The stand-alone version of Jupiter costs less since users need not sign up for the E-Gate desktop version.
Jupiter allows users to access streaming portfolios totaling 600 symbols, investments, streaming snap quotes, high resolution charts, symbol sensitive real time news, real time gain/loss positions in customizable fields, NASDAQ's "TotalView," and much more over a number of PDAs and smart phones, including RIM BlackBerry, Nokia, Palm OS, Windows CE devices and Symbian OS (Sony Ericsson).
Jupiter is the ONLY wireless provider of NASDAQ's "TotalView" product. TotalView shows users every single quote and order at every price level in the NASDAQ Market Center, plus all displayed orders at every price level for each NASDAQ-listed security in the Brut facility.
Through Jupiter, users will be able to manage their portfolios from any PDA device with an Internet connection, enabling investors to be fully informed at all times.
