Olin Corporation Selects TomorrowNow to Provide Full Support for Suite of PeopleSoft HCM Applications; Chemical and Basic Materials Manufacturer Chooses TomorrowNow to Avoid Costly, Vendor-Driven Upgrades
Business Wire, Nov 3, 2005
BRYAN, Texas -- TomorrowNow Inc., the leading provider of third-party support for PeopleSoft and J.D. Edwards applications, today announced the signing of an agreement with Olin Corporation, a top North American producer of copper alloys, ammunition and chlorine, and caustic soda. Olin will replace its current vendor's maintenance and support agreement with TomorrowNow Support Services to avoid a costly upgrade and reduce its annual maintenance costs by 50 percent.
TomorrowNow will provide mission-critical support, including tax and regulatory updates for the following PeopleSoft 8.3 Human Capital Management modules: Human Resources, Payroll, FSA Administration, eProfile, eDevelopment, eBenefits, and ePay.
"Our end-users are very comfortable using the PeopleSoft 8.3 release and saw nothing in the current release of PeopleSoft that would significantly improve their business processes," said Benny Daigle, Manager of PeopleSoft Projects at Olin Corporation. "We made the decision to stay on release 8.3 by engaging with TomorrowNow to provide the support and maintenance required for our PeopleSoft applications. TomorrowNow can deliver the service Olin requires at a much lower cost with no reduction in quality."
"We're pleased to support Olin Corporation," said Bob Geib, vice president, North American sales. "TomorrowNow is well prepared to keep Olin's system compliant with tax and regulatory releases and provide outstanding mission-critical support services at a much more appropriate cost."
