Amedia Announces Formation of Corporate Advisory Board; Appoints Prominent Telecommunications Industry Leaders as Founding Members; Prestigious Group to Complement Company's Highly Experienced Management Team

EATONTOWN, N.J. -- Amedia Networks, Inc. (OTCBB:AANI), a provider of switched Ethernet ultra-broadband solutions for the Triple Play Access Market, today announced the formation of a Corporate Advisory Board, created to advise the senior management team on strategic and overall business development in order to grow global market penetration.

In forming this Advisory Board, Amedia sought out senior leaders and trailblazers in both the markets directly addressed by the Company, and those adjacent to them. Each member of this diverse group has achieved remarkable success in their individual areas of endeavor. They have led major telecom companies as the CEO or as a key senior executive, have authored ground-breaking papers and books related to the evolving networking landscape, and have been at the forefront of the implementation of ground-breaking technologies.

The Advisory Board will be chaired by Amedia's President and CEO Frank Galuppo, and will meet routinely to advise the Company on clarifying its strategic growth options and priorities. Commenting on the appointments, Galuppo noted, "Many young companies such as Amedia retain investment and technology advisors. But few have been able to engage the broad range of business expertise, experience and accomplishments that we have. I consider it an immense privilege to have these highly respected and prominent industry veterans join our new Advisory Board."

Advisory Board Appointees include:

--M. Duane Elmquist, Senior Vice President for Telcordia Technologies. Mr. Elmquist is recognized for his expertise in software applications and network operations systems. While at Lucent Technologies as a Vice President in what was then the Software Solutions Business Unit, he led the development of that Company's E-commerce and Security applications. As a Vice President at Bellcore (a predecessor of Telcordia), he led the team that developed the next generation of that Company's Operations Support Systems - used by telephone companies throughout the world. Mr. Elmquist was also a manager and researcher at Bell Telephone Laboratories. He earned his Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University, and a MS and BS in Electrical Engineering at North Dakota State University.

--William F. Lenahan, was the Chief Executive Officer of KMC Telecom, a nationwide provider of next generation telecommunications infrastructure and service at the network edge. With over $565 million in revenue and $270 million in EBITDA in 2004, KMC Telecom was the largest privately held nationwide telecommunications company serving over 300 markets across the United States. KMC 's Data Division provide metro access and bandwidth over a nationwide VoIP platform serving wireless carriers and cable companies. Mr. Lenahan came to KMC from BellSouth Wireless Data (Cingular Wireless), where he was President and CEO, responsible for financial performance and nationwide wireless data strategy. Through his vision and execution, BellSouth earned recognition as the national leader in wireless data. He was instrumental in developing, funding and designing the popular RIM Blackberry and Palm.net services. Mr. Lenahan is a member of the board of Broadbeam Corporation, a member of the World President's Organization, and has served on the Advisory Councils of IBM, Compaq and NCR.

--Terence Seese, is a retired Officer from Lucent Technologies, where he was responsible for Customer Interface & Business Management for that Company's Wireline business. Previously, Mr. Seese served as Vice President of the Market Interface and Integration Unit for the Optical Networking Group at Lucent, where he was responsible for product launch readiness, customer focus, equipment integration, interoperability testing and the global deployments of Optical Networks. His telecomm experiences span over 30 years and include positions in field engineering and provisioning, operations, manufacturing, finance, and process re-engineering. He currently serves as an Advisor on Academic and Business Councils at Penn State University, Monmouth University School of Science and Engineering and Accenture's Communications and High Tech Network Practice

--Thomas M. Super is the CTO of NHC Communications, a leader in the design and manufacturing of remotely controlled cross-connect devices commonly used by telecommunications carriers. Prior to joining NHC, Mr. Super was a Vice President at Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) where he led the Bell Atlantic Laboratories. His expertise centered on systems integration as well as on the testing and certification of complex network systems - including DSL. Mr. Super had previously held the position of Vice President, Research and Development at NYNEX Science and Technology, as well as President of NYNEX Science and Technology in Asia. Mr. Super earned an undergraduate degree from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and a Masters degree from the New York University.

--Sammy J. Thomas, Executive Director at Telcordia Technologies for the Company's Global Services Group. Prior to Telcordia, Mr. Thomas held senior positions at NYNEX (now Verizon) that included Chief Economist, Vice President - Financial Planning, and CFO of the Greater New York Metro business unit. While at NYNEX, he was successful in developing and negotiating joint ventures, managing a multi-billion dollar business unit, and re-engineering the major business processes to reposition NYNEX for the emerging competitive marketplace in which it soon found itself operating. Mr. Thomas has over 25 years of telecommunications experience and successes, and is sought out by many firms in the industry for his insights and guidance. Mr. Thomas has published several landmark industry papers, many relating to Fiber-to-the-Premises.
