General Physics Corporation Expands Training Services to Pratt & Whitney Canada; General Physics Canada to Provide Outsourced Training Administration and Consulting Services
Business Wire, Nov 4, 2005
ELKRIDGE, Md. -- Global performance improvement solutions provider General Physics Corporation (GP), a subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE:GPX), has been chosen by Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) to provide outsourced training services through GP's Canadian operating division, General Physics Canada. Pratt & Whitney Canada is part of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) subsidiary Pratt & Whitney.
Since 2003, GP has supported United Technologies Corporation's (UTC) Learning and Development organization by providing a suite of services that includes training administration, logistics support, tuition management, vendor payment, and stock award processing for all of UTC's U.S.- based businesses. GP has expanded its training support services to Pratt & Whitney Canada and provides resources both on site at P&WC in Longueuil, Quebec and from GP's Montreal office. These services transfer training, purchasing and administrative responsibilities from P&WC's staff to GP, as the single point of contact. Furthermore GP's support ensures consistent, quality training services across P&WC's organizations.
General Physics Corporation has provided training outsource services for over 19 years, and its training administration and logistics processes are ISO9001:2000 registered. Adherence to these processes ensures that services, products, and processes meet the highest industry standards.
