400 Main Street, Brawley, California

HIGHLIGHTS:
-- Business, Transportation and Housing Agency Deputy Secretary
for Jobs and Economic Development Yolanda Benson and Deputy
Secretary for Legislation Curt Augustine present -- a
statewide program to create more jobs and economic opportunity
in California.
-- Enterprise Zones are designated in economically disadvantaged
neighborhoods and are designed to attract businesses through
local incentives and state tax credits. The resulting jobs
will help revitalize communities by increasing local tax
bases.
-- Incentives support the location, expansion and retention of
businesses within a designated zone. Eligible activities
include capital investment, lending, hiring, and job
retention.
DIRECTIONS:
Coming from San Diego: Interstate 8 East toward El Centro. Take
off ramp Hwy.111 going North toward Brawley about (14 miles). The new
Hwy.111 Bypass will end at Hwy.78, make a left, go into Brawley (1/2
mile). Continue going West on Hwy.78/111, this becomes Main Street. Go
West on Main Street about (1 mile) toward center of town. Kiosk at
North Plaza Park on right side.
Coming from Palm Springs: Interstate 10 East toward Coachella.
Exit Hwy.86 Expressway South to Brawley (about 70 miles). As you come
into Brawley on Hwy. 86, this becomes Main Street. Travel East on Main
Street about (1 mile) toward center of town.
