ContextWeb Launches White Label Version of Contextual Advertising Solution and Announces Agreement with HighBeam™ Research
Business Wire, Nov 7, 2005
NEW YORK -- Advertisers Can Now Buy Ad Inventory on Site-Specific Basis; Web Publishers Able to Monetize Inventories More Effectively
ContextWeb, a leading provider of high-precision, real-time contextual advertising solutions, announced today at ad:tech New York (booth #1122, New York Hilton) a "white label" version of its flagship technology ContextAd that will enable Web publishers to sell their own text ads on a site-specific basis. ContextWeb's white label adds another tool to publishers' ad sales efforts allowing them to command a premium for site-specific cost-per-click (CPC) text links.
ContextWeb also announced today that HighBeam(TM) Research, Inc. - operator of an online research engine for individuals that fills the gap between free search engines and high-end information services - has entered into an agreement to use the white label solution and directly sell contextually-targeted text ads to advertisers throughout the HighBeam Research Engine (www.highbeam.com).
ContextWeb's real-time, patent-pending technology ContextAd serves contextually relevant advertisements to the most motivated potential customer in as little as 20 milliseconds. ContextWeb's private, white label solution offers the same features as its original ContextAd platform, while providing Web site publishers the ability to sell text ads on a site-specific basis. Benefits of the white label solution include:
--Branded portal for publishers to sell site-specific text links
--Advantage of ContextWeb's real-time contextual engine and optimization process
--Self-service interface for advertisers including sign-up, campaign set-up and maintenance and ongoing performance reports
--Full publisher-side administrative management, billing and reporting
--The ability for publishers to monetize existing or incremental site inventories and increase revenues by allowing advertisers to purchase site-specific text links with cost-per-click pricing
Joe McWilliams, vice president of advertising for HighBeam Research, said, "ContextWeb's white label offers exceptional benefits for advertisers and publishers alike. Advertisers are armed with the comfort of knowing exactly where their ads will be displayed and publishers like HighBeam Research can extend current and build new advertiser relationships by offering their own CPC text ad products that reflect the value of their brands."
"Starting as one of our network publishers, HighBeam Research can now offer site-specific text ads as a new added benefit to its advertisers," said Jay Sears, vice president of business development/publisher relations at ContextWeb. "ContextWeb's white label solution gives publishers the opportunity to drive revenue growth and fully monetize their site inventories while providing incentives for advertisers to work with them on a site-specific basis."
