Vendare Media Unveils First of Their Kind Planning Tools, Giving Marketers Control in Calculating Reach across Their Target Audience; Planning Calculators Included with InFocus™, Industry's First Integrated Targeting Solution
Business Wire, Nov 7, 2005
NEW YORK -- Vendare Media (www.vendaremedia.com), a leader in online performance marketing, today announced the launch of two innovative pre-planning tools for online marketing campaigns -- Interactive Targeting Map(TM) and Virtual Channel Designer(TM). Both tools are to be used alongside InFocus(TM), the industry's first integrated targeting solution that delivers enhanced performance and maximum value -- at no additional cost. The new tools afford marketers an unprecedented level of customization and insight into pre-buying research related to their media plans. The company made the announcement at AD:TECH 05, here through Nov. 9.
Both the Interactive Targeting Map -- a local reach research tool -- and the Virtual Channel Designer, an advanced demographic channel targeting tool, give marketers the flexibility to examine various geographic and demographic scenarios before committing to a buying plan. Free and easy-to-use, with reporting data analyzed from Vendare Media's top-ranked proprietary and extended media networks, both tools enable marketers to custom design a marketing plan based on real-time information, and avoid cumbersome and often costly third-party research.
The Interactive Targeting Map and the Virtual Channel Designer are included within InFocus, which also formally launches today. The InFocus solution set is comprised of InZone(TM) (local targeting), InReach(TM) (demographic targeting), InContext(TM) (contextual targeting) and InProfile(TM) (behavioral targeting). Powering the integrated suite of services is the Internet's third-largest ad network, reaching more than half of U.S. internet users and offering access to thousands of high-quality sites through the use of all types of display ads.
Vendare Media additionally provides online marketers with a wealth of campaign-specific resources, from upfront planning tools to key performance indicators, including the ability to closely monitor specific campaign variables.
"These planning calculators, a first for our industry, underscore the enormous value of ease-of-use in campaign pre-planning," said Keith Cohn, President and CEO, Vendare Media. "Accurate, timely information is essential to effective targeting. Enabling marketers to obtain that information up-front, in the pre-planning stages, in such a simple, fast and inexpensive way translates to better targeting and more productive campaigns. Advertisers can create their own 'virtual channel' comprised of sites that best match their target demographic. The result is a rapidly optimized online advertising campaign with a maximum return on investment."
The Interactive Targeting Map (http://www.vendaremedia.com/infocus/inzone/zone.asp), part of InZone -- InFocus' local targeting toolset -- enables marketers to quickly and accurately retrieve impressions and unique user information throughout the United States. Searching by state, municipal and DMA targets, marketers can determine and specify those geographic regions capable of delivering the targeted results they are looking for. Data is derived from Vendare Media's proprietary and extended media networks on a monthly basis.
As an extension of InReach -- the InFocus demographic reach toolset -- the Virtual Channel Designer, (http://www.vendaremedia.com/infocus/inreach/channel_calc.asp), enables marketers to build a "virtual" ad channel based on their specific demographic targets. Once the desired age, gender and income are input into the free, easy-to-use tool, a report is generated showing how many users exist within Vendare Media's extensive media network and what their distribution is throughout Vendare's 17 existing media channels.
With InReach's Virtual Channel Designer, marketers can input as many variations of the three demographic variables as they want, allowing the marketer to build a customized, targeted "virtual" channel and completely bypass pre-packaged or run-of-network channels. Vendare Media's "Top Three" ad network -- comprised of thousands of highly-trafficked pre-screened sites -- is then referenced against the industry's leading market research tools to intelligently group publishers into demographic segments. Through the utilization of a proprietary optimization technology, campaigns are further customized to focus the delivery of ad impressions to the best performing sites. With access to more than half the Internet, InReach delivers a low-cost means to reach any demographic target on a massive scale.
