The development of this new version has been focused upon tight integration and compatibility with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. OpenAccess closes the conceptual gap between object-oriented software architecture and relational database systems such as SQL Server 2005. Using OpenAccess, .NET Framework-based developers can implement data access and data management with significantly less coding efforts. --Database Flexibility: Vanatec OpenAccess separates the storage details from the user's object model, so working with various database branches or database systems do not cause changes in the object model.
