Secretary for Legislation Curt Augustine presents - a
statewide program to create more jobs and economic
opportunity in California.
-- Enterprise Zones are designated in economically
disadvantaged neighborhoods and are designed to attract
businesses through local incentives and state tax credits.
The resulting jobs will help revitalize communities by
increasing local tax bases.
-- Incentives support the location, expansion and retention
of businesses within a designated zone. Eligible
activities include capital investment, lending, hiring,
and job retention.
