OTCBB Has Not Yet Set Ex-Dividend Date For Patient Infosystems, Inc. Distribution of American Caresource Holdings, Inc. Shares

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Patient Infosystems, Inc. (OTCBB: PATY - News) a healthcare services company today announced that the OTCBB has not yet established the Ex-Dividend Date (the "ExDate") for its dividend of American Caresource Holdings, Inc. common stock (the "Spin-off") until the registration statement relating to the distribution of the securities of American Caresource Holdings, Inc. ("ACS") is declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Patient Infosystems has been advised by the OTCBB that any purchasers of its common stock before the ExDate will be entitled to receive from the seller thereof the dividend of ACS common stock in connection with the Spin-off. Patient Infosystems expects that the spin-off will occur as soon as practicable following the date that the registration statement filed by ACS with the Securities and Exchange Commission becomes effective.
