Polycom Announces Conference Call and Webcast to Discuss Third Quarter Results; Conference Call and Webcast Scheduled for Wednesday, October 19 at 5:00 p.m. EST

Bob Hagerty, chairman and CEO, and Mike Kourey, chief financial officer, will host the conference call.

The estimated one-hour conference will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005 US/Canada callers, please call 888-391-0071 and callers outside US/Canada, please call 212-676-5362 at 4:50 p.m. ET/1:50 p.m. PT. The pass code for the call is "Polycom." The Global Conferencing operator will connect callers into the conference call. For callers unable to attend the conference call, a replay of the call will be available. Webcast details:
