LSSi To Expand Global Gateway Service; New Service Provides Direct Access to 26 Countries' National Telephone Directory Databases Through a Single Connection to LSSi
Business Wire, Oct 12, 2005
EDISON, N.J. -- LSSi(R) Corp., the world leader in developing and operating high-performance directory databases, announced today that it will expand its Global Gateway Service in November of this year. The service will give LSSi customers high-speed IP access to the national directory databases of 26 countries, including LSSi's new France Database, by means of a single E115 connection to LSSi.
LSSi will expand its Gateway service to include the 26 national databases, and act as the transit operator between the DQ service providers and these directory databases. With a high-speed IP link to the LSSi Global Gateway, DQ service provider operators will have fast and reliable access to the freshest and most accurate listings in the following countries: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States.
LSSi's Global Gateway service significantly reduces the complex and costly administrative burden that DQ providers face in supplying international listing information. Without a single-contact service such as LSSi's Global Gateway, DQ service providers must establish costly separate access arrangements to be able to provide DQ service to a respective country for their customers.
LSSi is in the best position to provide an expanded Gateway Service, according to Jack McMaster, LSSi's President and CEO. "Expanding our Global Gateway to incorporate direct relationships with countries is a natural position for LSSi to take. As a neutral, 3rd party provider of directory listing databases, LSSi is in the best position to efficiently provide remote access to European directory databases to DQ service providers. LSSi will leverage its more than five years' experience hosting numerous national databases and providing international gateway services to deliver the highest quality, lowest cost Gateway services to carriers and service providers."
