Kubi Names Open Text Veteran as Vice President of Marketing; Dylan Barrell Will Lead Marketing and Business Development; Kubi Also Announces Appointment of Ayikudy Srikanth as Vice President of Engineering

LINCOLN, Mass. -- Kubi Software, Inc., an innovator in sales effectiveness solutions, today announced the appointment of Dylan Barrell as vice president of marketing and business development. Formerly vice president of corporate development at Open Text (NASDAQ: OTEX, TSX: OTC), Barrell will direct Kubi business development and marketing programs for the company's new-generation Kubi Enable software. Barrell had been with Open Text for ten years after the company had acquired Intunix AG, a search-engine technology start-up co-founded by Barrell. Kubi also announced the appointment made earlier this year of Ayikudy "Sri" Srikanth, networking and security industry veteran, as vice president of engineering.

About Dylan Barrell
Dylan A. Barrell brings 17-plus years of international software marketing experience to Kubi Software. As vice president of marketing and business development, he aligns product development with customer needs and leads all marketing programs that drive and support corporate messaging. Prior to Kubi, Barrell was vice president of corporate development at Open Text, the leader in enterprise content management software, which in 1995 acquired the search-engine company co-founded by Barrell -- Intunix of St. Gallen (Switzerland). During his ten-year tenure with Open Text, Barrell held executive-level positions of increasing responsibility that spanned segment marketing and product management. He was instrumental in growing Open Text from 50 employees and sub $10M revenues in 1995 to over 2000 employees worldwide with annual revenue approaching $500M in 2005. Expert in collaborative technology go-to-market strategies and localization programs, Barrell is a sought-after keynote speaker at industry conferences and events. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS in computer science from WITS University (Johannesburg, South Africa).
About Ayikudy "Sri" Srikanth
Ayikudy "Sri" Srikanth has 15 years of experience in engineering design and management in the security and networking industry, and a proven track record in taking software and hardware products from concept to customers. As vice president of engineering at Kubi Software, he directs the company's solution architecture to implement the product roadmap for business activity management software. Prior to joining Kubi Software, Srikanth was part of the early team at Crossbeam Systems, a leading developer of total network security solutions, where he was director of software and vice president of engineering. He played a pivotal role in the architecture and product strategy at Crossbeam Systems and built and led a high-performance engineering team that brought multiple products to market and supported them for hundreds of customers and partners. Srikanth started his career with Wellfleet Communications (later acquired by Nortel Networks) where he held various engineering and management positions. Author of VRRP Increasing Reliability and Fail Over with the Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (Addison-Wesley, 2003), Srikanth has been published in industry journals and holds six protocol-related patents. He holds an MBA from Babson College, an MS in computer and electrical engineering from Purdue University, and a BS in electronics from the Government College of Technology (India). Srikanth is a resident of Reading, Mass.
