GoldMine® Helps Long Term Care Partners Provide Superior Customer Service, Sales Support; FrontRange Solutions® Partner Customizes GoldMine to Enable a More Productive and Personalized Customer Experience
Business Wire, Oct 18, 2005
DUBLIN, Calif. -- When long-term care insurance company Long Term Care Partners (LTCP) needed an onsite customer relationship management system to better streamline its sales and account management process, it turned to GoldMine(R) software from FrontRange Solutions and FrontRange Partner SagaSolutions.com for customization services.
In 2000, the U.S. government created the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program to cover the approximately 20 million eligible Americans who are current or former federal employees. John Hancock Life Insurance Company and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, two insurers for the program, formed Long Term Care Partners (LTCP), a jointly owned company exclusively dedicated to serving the long-term care insurance needs of federal employees.
Priding itself on the ability to provide exceptional customer service, LTCP consultants and account managers must keep up with millions of contact records in the course of managing prospective and current customers. In order to execute direct marketing campaigns the company was keeping its prospect and customer database with an outside organization -- leaving LCTP staff detached from contact records and without essential customer and prospect details.
Recognizing these inefficiencies, LCTP put GoldMine Corporate Edition to work as a cost-effective, easy-to-customize solution to easily handle millions of contact and history records.
"Long-term care insurance can be very complicated, so it takes a while for people to decide. We view it as an ongoing process," said Joan Melanson, Director of Program Promotions at LTCP. "Now we call people back when we say we will and the consultant knows their details. GoldMine gives us the opportunity to work with people over time as they decide. It makes for a better customer experience."
Moving forward, the company will work with SagaSolutions.com to integrate GoldMine with the company's marketing database. Throughout the process, GoldMine's flexibility and the expertise of SagaSolutions.com have made for a smooth transition and enabled LTCP to accomplish its business objectives.
"SagaSolutions.com easily understands what we're trying to do and brings considerable expertise from working with lots of other organizations," continued Melanson. "We're been very pleased and are very excited about what we have accomplished."
