I-Logix Announces Release of Two New Products Plus DoDAF Pack for Systems Engineering Market; SysML Compliant Rhapsody System Architect and Rhapsody System Designer Products Targeted to Seize Market Leadership of Systems Engineering Tools

ANDOVER, Mass. -- New for fall 2005, I-Logix (http://www.ilogix.com) announces immediate availability of two new products Rhapsody System Architect and Rhapsody System Designer, based on the latest SysML draft standard, to meet the specific needs of the system engineering community. The Rhapsody Systems Architect product is targeted to users whose focus is on drawing and design documentation. It features an intuitive drawing and design environment, which is fully compliant with the latest SysML standard (v 0.91). The ergonomic look and feel includes easy installation, a systems tutorial documentation feature, systems samples and menu items provided in a way natural to systems engineers. Ease-of-use is enhanced with systems wizards, enhanced graphics support for user-defined graphics and a diagram navigator feature for large systems diagrams. Additionally, Systems Architect has a significant static analysis capability to ensure model consistency and model completeness. The SysML profile allows users to access requirements diagrams and notations, block diagrams, parametric diagrams and activity pins, and much more.
These two new Rhapsody products, as with all Rhapsody family products, have access to the powerful I-Logix DoDAF pack option, the most comprehensive array of executable DoDAF solutions on the market today.
The Rhapsody Systems Designer product is targeted to systems engineers who are focused on systems design and validation, and are seeking ways to detect potential errors early in the design process. Systems Designer includes everything in the Systems Architect package plus a powerful simulation capability via easy GNU compiler install, an action language mapping guide and simulation menu item.
These latest Rhapsody product are seamlessly interoperable with the existing Rhapsody product family are supported by a full complement of add-on tools for requirements traceability, Design for Test (DFT), scripting, and more including Gateway, Rhapsody ATG, Test Conductor and the VBA Pack.
