Dataram Releases Two First-to-Market 4GB Memory Upgrades for HP Workstations; Dataram's 4GB Memory Upgrades Double Maximum Memory Capacity for Hewlett-Packard's HP xw6200 and xw9300 Workstations

Business Wire, Oct 20, 2005

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Dataram Corporation (NASDAQ: DRAM), a leading provider of server and workstation memory, today announced two first-to-market 4GB memory upgrades. These options, not available from the system manufacturer, double the maximum memory capacity of HP's xw6200 and xw9300 Workstations to 16GB and 32GB respectively.

The new 4GB DRHXW6200/4GB from Dataram is a DDR-2 400MHz PC2-3200 memory upgrade, that when added in pairs, enables xw6200 workstations with an 800MHz front-side bus to operate at a peak bandwidth and doubles the maximum memory capacity of the xw6200 workstation to 16GB.

Dataram's 4GB memory upgrade, DRHXW9300/4GB, for the dual AMD Opteron-based HP xw9300 Workstations, HP's latest high-end visualization workstation, allows customers to double the maximum memory capacity to 32GB.

"With the addition of these two new memory upgrades, Dataram is continuing its successful development and introduction of first-to-market, high-end memory products for HP workstations and cementing its position as the vendor of choice for HP memory upgrades," stated Paul Henke, Director of Product Marketing.

In addition to these 4GB upgrades, Dataram offers a full range of memory upgrades for the HP workstations xw6200 and xw9300 as well as the xw8200 including 512MB, 1GB and 2GB options.
