Business Wire, Oct 22, 2005
LAS VEGAS -- November 4th, 5th and 6th, 2005 -
Entrepreneurs rally together for a 'No Limitations' annual alumni weekend, held in Las Vegas at The Henderson Animal Shelter, and the 'No Limitations' school on Nov. 4th, 5th and 6th, 9am-6pm (WST)
Get the inside scoop on what the graduates from Fred Hassen's 'No Limitations' school are up to. They're 'Off-leash' and fending for themselves, training dogs both great and small for a living - and loving it. The experts from this unique, gentle, and effective program will explain how they are making a career as professional dog trainers, thanks to this remote collar method. Along side mingling and networking, the weekend will include informational sessions, geared to future dog trainers, and entrepreneurs' alike, offering guidance and support. Topics to include:
- Training in animal shelters
- Marketing a dog training business
- Agility
- Protection
- 'Live' seminars
- Veterinary speaker
- Search-and-rescue in Katrina hurricane relief
- Teaching your dog safety by the pool and to swim
"Over 70 certified trainers have graduated through our program and have conducted seminars around North America for police K-9, working dog handlers, pet owners, and trainers looking to improve specific skills such as retrieve, agility, or search-and-rescue," says Fred Hassen, creator/originator of the 'No Limitations' method. "This gathering of alumni only validates my mission: to help people understand how effective this method is, and how to make a viable business out of it. It will be inspiring to have so many success stories under one roof, and to hear about how much they love their work. It's very gratifying."
"One of the trainers, Carla Collins, recently took her 'No Limitations' trained dog to help out with the Katarina disaster," explains Lianne Shinton, owner of Pet Peeves Dog Training in Toronto, Canada. "It is important for people to see how effective this method is, and how your dog can act as not only your companion, but help out in the community as well. If there is a disaster, I want Scooby and Carla on the job."
Please join us on Friday, Nov. 4th, Saturday, Nov. 5th and Sunday, Nov. 6th, 9am-6pm (WST) for your exclusive and informational one-on-one with Fred Hassen or one of the other experts. This event is not open to the public, and is by appointment only.
