SC Data Center Chooses Cybermation to Enhance Job Scheduling Process; Cybermation's ESP Solution Decreases Workload Time and Increases Productivity
Business Wire, Oct 25, 2005
MARKHAM, Ontario -- Cybermation, a leading developer of enterprise job scheduling and software change management solutions, today announced a new enterprise agreement with SC Data Center, a privately held, family owned catalogue business based in Monroe, WI. SC Data Center selected Cybermation's ESP job scheduling solution to streamline operations and dramatically reduce scheduling errors.
SC Data Center chose Cybermation after a year long review of vendors in the job scheduling marketplace. Cybermation offered SC Data Center a job scheduling process that was deep in functionality but more importantly, it offered a detailed support network that guided the organization through the job scheduling conversion. Cybermation's professional and experienced staff conducted special education sessions where they worked with SC Data Center production control, operations and technical employees on how to reduce the risks often associated with conversion.
Following the conversion to Cybermation's ESP solution, SC Data Center received immediate benefits, particularly regarding the elimination of latency. Prior to Cybermation, the time between jobs ranged from two to eight minutes; it now takes only seconds with Cybermation's solutions. The nightly workload run time was also dramatically reduced to a point where processing is being completed three to five hours earlier than before. As well, telephone order and customer service centers, now have a much earlier online access to customer information. This allowed SC Data Center to quickly respond to its customers' requests and execute its deliverables with greater speed.
"SC Data Center prides itself on combining Old-World charm with New-World technology," said Ann Wells, Sr. Manager, Production Control Services at SC Data Center. "With Cybermation's ESP job scheduling solutions, we are able to better provide our customers with the products they love in a faster, technologically advanced and more efficient way."
"SC Data Center is a consumer-focused organization that places precedence on the customers' service and experience," said Ray Nissan, CEO of Cybermation. "We look forward to providing SC Data Center with the tools they need to solve their real world business concerns, ensuring they can meet their business objectives and deliver on their customer service goals."
