TALX Promotes Simpson to Head the Work Number Business Line

LOUIS -- TALX Corporation (NASDAQ: TALX), a leading provider of payroll-related and human resources services, announced today that Stacey Simpson has been promoted to the newly-created position of president of The Work Number, TALX's automated employment and income verification service. Simpson has held key operational, sales and client service positions, including responsibilities related to The Work Number services, during her eight years with TALX. She holds BS and MA degrees from Arizona State University.
The Work Number services represent approximately 45% of the company's total revenues. Continued growth in the employment and income verification service is key to TALX's overall strategy to be a leader in niche payroll and human resources automated applications. As a result, this position is designed to provide additional leadership and focus so that this application is poised to maintain its strong growth and market position well into the future.
