HighRES Debuts Enhanced Integrated 3D CAD/CAM Reverse Engineering Software Plug-ins for Mastercam X at SEMA Show; Adds Real Time Inspection and Measure Features to New HighRES Release
Business Wire, Oct 27, 2005
LA JOLLA, Calif. -- HighRES, Inc., providers of CAD/CAM integrated 3D reverse engineering and digitizing software products, today announced it will debut its HighRES for Mastercam X, their newly upgraded software interface for digitizing direct in Mastercam at SEMA in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 1-4, 2005 in booth #52115 (Silver Lot Temporary Structure #2).
"HighRES for Mastercam X has been dramatically enriched with powerful new inspection and reverse engineering features," states Braxton Carter, CTO of HighRES, Inc. "By adding inspection to our already robust reversing engineering software, users no longer have to struggle with imported inspection data. Quick alignment of portable CMM data to the already existing CAM file allows users to inspect in inches or metric, automatically probe radius compensation and inspect features such as holes, slots, planes, spheres, cylinder or cones." The new product can be used with industry standard inspection devices such as CMMs, laser trackers or articulating arms (PCMMs).
HighRES for Mastercam integrated 3D reverse engineering software solutions completely eliminate the need to import foreign data from stand alone inspection and RE packages. Users simply click on the floating HighRES toolbar and see the probe collecting or inspecting data on screen, in real time, direct in Mastercam X.
