Business Wire, Oct 3, 2005

WASHINGTON -- The Microcap Company Political Action Committee (MCPAC), the first advocacy group representing the nation's microcap publicly-traded companies to securities regulators and policy makers, has hired Arnold & Porter LLP, one of Washington's largest law firms.

"Any company that is involved in any aspect of our nation's political life must have a vigorous compliance program - at both the federal and state level," said Frank Speight, Chairman of MCPAC and the National Small Public Company Leadership Council with offices in Washington, D.C. and West Palm Beach, Fla.

"We have engaged Arnold & Porter to develop and implement tailor-made, company-wide policies and programs to ensure compliance with campaign finance, lobbying, government ethics, and procurement rules at the federal, state, and local levels," explained Joseph Emas, a Miami-based securities attorney who serves as Secretary of MCPAC.

Since its founding in 1946, Arnold & Porter LLP has achieved a national reputation for excellence in representing clients before Congress, federal agencies and state and local governments.
