ebizQ Launches Online Training Center Focused on Service Oriented Architectures for It Professionals; ebizQ SOA-Integration Curriculum Uses Online Expertise, Top Authors and Experts to Provide Much Needed Vendor Neutral Education
Business Wire, Oct 3, 2005
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- ebizQ, an interactive online community (www.ebizQ.net) focused on business integration, today announced the launch of its ebizQ Training Center, a new choice in independent business integration training. Unlike most integration training courses which are developed to teach about a specific technology solution, the ebizQ SOA-Integration Training Courses focus on the vendor-neutral education needs of IT Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, and Managers. This fills a marketplace need to help IT professionals in choosing, implementing and optimizing integration solutions to address critical business challenges.
The ebizQ Training Center will offer IT and business executives at all levels a fresh and innovative integration curriculum that will help students understand a wide variety of SOA-integration challenges, concepts, solutions, and technologies. Courses will focus on what decision makers and implementers need to know to make sound business and technology decisions and minimize risk when choosing and implementing an SOA-integration solution.
"For years, we have been developing online Webinars addressing important SOA-integration issues with leaders from the analyst, business and technology communities," said Beth Gold-Bernstein, Vice President of Strategic Products and Services for ebizQ. "Businesses around the world are beginning to understand that high-quality online training provides a unique opportunity to improve the skill-sets of their workforce without removing critical people from their offices. We see an opportunity to fill an important need, by offering a highly relevant and innovative business integration curriculum taught by industry thought-leaders."
Leveraging its years of expertise in online communications and education, the ebizQ SOA-Integration Curriculum is staffed by prominent industry thought-leaders including Beth Gold-Bernstein, Dave Linthicum, Roger Burlton and Kathy Long. All are noted authors and educators. Ms. Gold-Bernstein, the Training Center's lead instructor, is a recognized expert in e-business integration technologies and technical architectures, as well as the co-author of Enterprise Integration: The Essential Guide to Integration Solutions.
"Unfortunately, many people think that buying the right technology will guarantee success - but that is not the case," added Mr. Linthicum. "People need to understand what they want to do with the technology first. They need to understand the design concepts, and what the implementation issues could be, such as security, optimizing business processes, etc. That's why the ebizQ approach is so important, because it lays the foundation people need before deciding what technologies they will select to solve business problems."
ebizQ Training Center will hold an Open House Webinar for potential Training Center students on October 20, 2005 at 2:00 PM Eastern. The instructors will be available to answer questions and share their views about SOA technologies. To register for free, students should visit http://www.ebizq.net/openhouse.html
