Dreyfus Strategic Municipal Bond Fund Declares Dividend

NEW YORK -- On Monday, October 31, 2005, the Board of Directors of Dreyfus Strategic Municipal Bond Fund, Inc. (NYSE: DSM) declared from net investment income a monthly cash dividend of $0.043 per share of common stock, payable on November 29, 2005 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 15, 2005.
The ex-dividend date is November 10, 2005. The previous dividend declared in September was $0.043 per share of common stock.
