Business Wire, Oct 5, 2005

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Triangle TechJournal, the Research Triangle region's premiere technology business publication, announced today its fall DeckParty event will be held October 20, 2005 at North Carolina State University's Centennial Campus located in Raleigh, N.C.

The DeckParty is the largest pure technology business networking event in North Carolina with over 500 senior executives and professionals from the regional technology and investment community expected to attend. In addition to providing a vehicle for networking, the free, sponsor supported event will highlight several unique technologies currently being developed at Centennial Campus.

"We couldn't ask for a better venue than Centennial Campus, which has become a national model for how the technology business community can work hand in hand with the University research and development community," said Eric Gregg, Publisher of the TechJournal.

The Fall DeckParty is presented by Venture Center and Craig Davis Properties and sponsored by 4Front Systems, Cherry Bekaert and Holland, Clinical Trial Services, DASH Systems, F.O.C.U.S. Resources, Hosted Solutions, Maverick Marketing, North Carolina State University MBA program, North Shore and Plexus.

The event will also give TechMedia, publisher of the Triangle TechJournal, an opportunity to introduce the Research Triangle region's education, business and technology communities to TechJournal South, a monthly publication covering the technology and life science business economy of the southeast.

TechJournal South will cover the entire southeast region stretching from Washington D.C. south through Florida, encompassing established technology markets such as Northern Virginia, North Carolina's Research Triangle Park, Atlanta and South Florida. TechJournal South is geared toward senior technology executives and will cover all major high growth technology industries including biotech, software, pharmaceuticals, telecom, medical devices, tech manufacturing, defense, and the Internet among others.
