Knott's Berry Farm Sets a Course for Fun at Knott's Treasure Hunt at Camp Spooky

Business Wire, Sept 1, 2005

BUENA PARK, Calif. -- Charter yer course for fun this Halloween at Knott's Treasure Hunt in Camp Spooky. This daytime, non-scare celebration, of cheer rather than fear, promises to be a treasure trove of surprises for the entire family.

Knott's Treasure Hunt transforms Knott's Camp Spooky into a playful pirate party complete with trick or treating, a maze, and themed entertainment all geared for kids ages 3-11.

Grab your map and plot your course as you make your way through Camp Spooky's Treasure Hunt gathering your pirate bounty. Young swashbucklers will be able to acquire everything they need to be a true buccaneer - hat, scarf, patch, a little pirate "bling," and of course some sweet treats!

Beware of plucky pirates at "Captain Jack's Haunted Hideaway," a new maze for those bold enough to come aboard, and all are invited to come sail the seas with the entire Peanuts' gang in "Charlie Brown's Pirate Adventure." This live action musical review at the Camp Snoopy Theatre performs at 11:45, 1:00, 2:15, 3:45, & 5:00 (subject to change).

Knott's Treasure Hunt in Camp Spooky runs weekends Oct. 8-31 and is included with regular park admission. Knott's Berry Farm Theme Park operating hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For more information on all the exciting things that are going on at Knott's Berry Farm, call 714-220-5200 or visit on the Web at www.knotts.com.
