Juniper Networks to Showcase Secure and Assured VoIP Solutions at Fall VON Conference; Company VoIP Expert to Address Conference Attendees on VoIP Security

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:JNPR) today announced it will showcase its secured and assured voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) networking solutions at the upcoming Fall VON Conference and Expo held at the Boston Convention Center, September 20-22 in Boston. The company will provide demonstrations at its VON booth #1321.
The Juniper Networks solutions are optimized to deliver secure, high quality VoIP communications over a single IP network, enabling enterprises and service providers to be more competitive, lower cost and increase revenue opportunities. Demonstrations at VON will include a managed service solution using the Juniper Networks VoiceFlow session border controllers and security devices, threat protection from a session initiation protocol (SIP) attack using Juniper intrusion prevention systems (IPS) and SDX policy manager, and a VoIP secure sockets layer (SSL) virtual private networking (VPN) solution for secure VoIP connectivity.

Juniper Networks vice president of voice technologies Opher Kahane will also address VON Conference attendees during a panel discussion titled "VoIP Security" on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. -- 10:15 a.m. at the Boston Convention Center. As vice president of voice technologies for Juniper Networks, Kahane oversees VoIP strategy for the company. Before its purchase by Juniper Networks, Kahane co-founded Kagoor Networks, acting as its CEO and primary driver behind the session border control market. He was an early developer in the VoIP industry, is the author of multiple patents, a key contributor to the H.323 standard, and a founding member of the VoIP Forum.
