Los Angeles Has More Spirit! Spirit Airlines Connects Los Angeles to the Caribbean with Fares as Low as $149

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Spirit Airlines announces new non-stop, daily service from Los Angeles International Airport to Fort Lauderdale with convenient connections to the Caribbean. Service starts February 23, 2006. The service features new Airbus A319 equipment with all leather interiors and two class cabin service including Spirit Plus Business Class which provides an extra six inches of width and legroom vs coach. Spirit's hub in Fort Lauderdale offers connections to eleven, tropical destinations: Cancun, Mexico, Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands, Grand Turk and Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Kingston and Montego Bay in Jamaica, Nassau and San Salvador in the Bahamas, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

This new service will augment Spirit's existing service from Los Angeles (LAX) to Detroit with connecting service to NY/LaGuardia, Orlando, and Washington, D.C./Reagan National.

are for coach class and are each way based on round-trip purchase,
and roundtrip travel is required. Fares do not include (a) a segment
tax of $3.20 per U.S. domestic flight segment of a passenger's
itinerary: a flight segment is defined as one takeoff and landing;
(b) up to $18 per round trip in local airport charges; and (c)
September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement originating at
a U.S. airport, up to $5 per one way or $10 per round trip. Virgin
Island / Puerto Rico fares do not include government taxes and fees
