Quantapoint and AVEVA Offer Aid and Services to Gulf Coast Process Industries; Will Enable Faster Startup of Facilities by Supporting Families and Speeding Design and Re-Construction
Business Wire, Sept 13, 2005
PITTSBURGH -- Hurricane Katrina caused significant damage to the process industries in the Gulf Coast region. Quantapoint and AVEVA recognize the significant effort that will be required to restore operations to these facilities and are offering both aid and assistance. We will be making donations to provide humanitarian relief and will provide resources and assistance to bring projects and business operations back on line, helping to rebuild the region and its infrastructure for its people and the vital role it plays in the United States economy. AVEVA and Quantapoint will also accelerate the delivery of the Laser Model Interface, which enables Quantapoint laser scan data to be used within AVEVA's PDMS. By supporting families and providing a greater understanding of the current conditions and the repairs required, Quantapoint and AVEVA can help enable faster restoration of America's energy infrastructure.
