BOSTON -- E[acute accent]2005 Children's Book Festival Returns to Boston September 16-17
E[acute accent]For the third consecutive year, Target presents The Boston Globe Children's Book Festival, September 16 at Boston's Public Library and September 17 at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. This free, fun-filled two-day event features readings and signings by well-known children's authors, demonstrations by celebrated illustrators, live music, performances by children's entertainers, free giveaways, and much more! E[acute accent]The fun begins Friday with a sold-out literary "Afternoon Tea" in the Boston Public Library's Orientation Room, and continues with a spectacular all-day celebration on Saturday at Faneuil Hall. The Festival presents a unique opportunity for parents to encourage their children's love of reading while having hours and hours of fun! E[acute accent]On Saturday, Target will bring live, family-focused entertainment, including readings by children's authors, appearances by costumed characters and musical entertainment to Boston book lovers attending the festival. The larger-than-life Target "Big Red Chair," which measures almost five feet wide and serves as the symbol of Target's national reading program Ready. Sit. Read!, will be on-stage throughout the festival.
