Business Wire, Sept 2, 2005

CHICAGO -- Bank One, Mayor Richard M. Daley and the City of Chicago have teamed up to create the Chicago Helps Fund to help New Orleans families after Hurricane Katrina.

All of Bank One's 330 Chicago area branches are ready to accept tax-deductible donations - in cash or check payable to "Chicago Helps." To find the nearest Bank One branch, go to www.bankone.com and click on "Find Us."

"We are coming together to help families cope with the devastation from Hurricane Katrina," said Jamie Dimon, President of JPMorgan Chase, the parent company of Bank One, the city's largest bank. "We want to make it as easy as possible for the people of Chicago to show their compassion."

"I hope that everyone who can afford it will contribute at least a few dollars," Mayor Daley said. "It's a way to support the people of New Orleans in this very difficult time."

Daley will work with New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin to identify the most critical needs of New Orleans citizens.

Donations can also be mailed to:
