ORLANDO, Fla. -- Expanded and New Siebel Analytic Applications for Sales, Service, Marketing, Financial, Workforce, Supply Chain and Executives Now Available for Teradata(R) Warehouse

Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR), and Siebel Systems, Inc., today announced availability of the complete suite of Siebel Business Analytics applications optimized for Teradata Warehouse(R). These new enterprise and expanded customer analytic applications extend the breadth and depth of analytic insight to drive business performance across sales, service, marketing, financial, workforce, supply chain and executive functions.

Companies using or considering Siebel Business Analytics' industry-specific, customer and enterprise analytic applications can now take advantage of the performance and scalability of the Teradata platform. Likewise, Teradata Warehouse customers can extend the value of the platform rapidly through prebuilt analytic applications for the whole enterprise.

The two companies announced their partnership in April 2004 to promote enterprise-wide analytics, immediately delivered integrated products and have continued to enhance the offering.

Teradata Warehouse is a top-tier supported database for all Siebel Business Analytics platform and application products. Now, Siebel Business Analytics has been optimized and tuned further to take advantage of the unique performance and scalability characteristics of Teradata, including Teradata Warehouse 8.0. New and expanded analytic applications covering more than 70 additional subject areas are now available for Teradata. Additionally, the companies have worked to leverage Teradata industry-specific Logical Data Models together with Siebel Business Analytics applications' physical data models. These advances are evidence of the ongoing collaboration and dedicated engineering efforts to integrate and optimize Siebel Business Analytics on the Teradata Warehouse.

The complete set of Siebel Business Analytics applications on Teradata is designed to deliver new levels of enterprise insight across all functional areas, with fast time-to-value with a low total cost of ownership. The analytic applications feature prebuilt database schema, packaged metadata and key performance indicators to enable the delivery of actionable business insight via role-based, intelligence dashboards and alerts. The applications include prebuilt extract-transform-load (ETL) routines to automate the loading of data from Siebel, SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft applications, and a wide range of other enterprise sources.

The Teradata Warehouse is known for its parallel processing and high performance, supporting large numbers of users and a wide variety of analytic workloads. Customers who run Siebel Business Analytics applications on the Teradata platform will maximize their investment in both systems.

The companies have joint customers worldwide using the powerful combination of Teradata and Siebel Business Analytics, including Anheuser-Busch, Bayer Animal Health, DirecTV Operations, Union Pacific Railroad Company, Warner Home Video and Wellpoint.

Larry Barbetta, senior vice president and general manager, Siebel Business Analytics, said, "The focus of our partnership from the beginning has been to deliver the next generation of analytics involving rich, real-time insight to all front-line employees, managers and executives.
