Former Texas PUC Commissioner Brett Perlman Joins EnerNOC's Strategic Advisory Board

BOSTON -- EnerNOC, Inc., the leading provider of full-service demand response and energy management solutions, today announced that Brett A. Perlman has joined its Strategic Advisory Board.
From 1999 through 2003, Mr. Perlman served as Commissioner of the Public Utility Commission of Texas where he led the highly successful restructuring of the state's electric utility and telecommunications industries. Today, in addition to his role on EnerNOC's Strategic Advisory Board, Mr. Perlman provides management consulting services to telecommunications and energy clients.

Prior to his appointment to the Texas PUC, Mr. Perlman was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company where he specialized in strategic planning and development for Fortune 500 technology companies. "I have great respect for EnerNOC's leadership team and all that it has accomplished to date in the demand response market," remarked Mr. Perlman. "I look forward to assisting the company as it expands into new regions for its full-service solutions."
Mr. Perlman holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Northwestern University and a law degree from the University of Texas Law School. He received a master's degree in public administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University where he focused on business and policy issues involving information technology, telecommunications industry and the Internet.
