Acsis and Fibergrations Form Strategic Alliance and Reseller Partnership for End-to-End RFID Implementations; Food and Beverage and CPG Industries First to Benefit from Collaboration
Business Wire, Sept 21, 2005
MARLTON, N.J. & NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Acsis, Inc., a leader in delivering enterprise data collection solutions today announced that Fibergrations, a leading RFID integrator and installation provider, has joined Acsis' partner program. The companies will leverage joint domain experience, providing customers with world-class RFID software and implementation expertise.
Under the partnership, Fibergrations will utilize and market Acsis' Data-Link(TM) Enterprise platform solution as part of its RFID solution portfolio. Additionally, Fibergrations will provide applications built on Data-Link(TM) for managing processes in the Food and Beverage industry using RFID technologies.
Fibergrations brings full-scale RFID implementations to many Fortune 500 corporations, providing customers with superior warehouse and supply chain management solutions as industry leaders in the field. "We know what our customers expect from their systems and wanted to find a partner that would meet our customers' needs. That's why we partnered with Acsis," says Mike Beedles, CEO of Fibergrations. "Acsis' reputation in the RFID market, mature RFID middleware and longstanding relationship with SAP bring tremendous value. Customers benefit from a unique combination of superior RFID software and integration capabilities, enabling them to maximize their infrastructure investments."
Acsis also benefits from Fibergrations deep roots in the food industry. Many of Fibergrations' customers are in the food manufacturing and restaurant industries, in which some of the most difficult environments to implement RFID exist. Fibergrations' RFID projects have ranged from extensive food product case- and pallet-level testing; racks/containers tracking throughout the manufacturing process; asset tracking; product-temperature tracking, and basic inventory tracking.
"Acsis' reseller program helps extend our capabilities to deliver solutions in the market," said Steve Selfridge, CEO and president of Acsis. "Fibergrations has extensive experience implementing RFID technology at top companies in the CPG and Food Industries. Our joint capabilities and experience will benefit companies that are looking to RFID to increase efficiencies and management of material movements."
The news was announced at the NAFEM Show Global conference, an annual event for food equipment manufacturers, held Sept. 23-25, in Anaheim, CA. Acsis and Fibergrations will jointly exhibit at booth #2710, in the Technology area of the conference.
