Business Wire, Sept 21, 2005
SAN FRANCISCO -- AgentArts, Inc. (www.agentarts.com), a provider of mobile personalization and recommendation technologies, today announced it has launched 3G and i-mode mobile music & movie services for Telstra BigPond, the broadband and online services business unit of Telstra Corporation. AgentArts presently provides recommendations, personalization and community features for Telstra BigPond's online movie rental and music download services using AgentArts' patented recommendations platform.
"Navigating music and video content on mobile devices presents a real problem for mobile consumers given UI limitations and very large volumes of available choice. "We'll be working closely with Telstra BigPond to extend their Web-based music and movie services to 3G and i-mode compatible devices, as well as deploy features that leverage the unique attributes of mobile devices."
The mobile services will feature one to one personalization and recommendations, search, news, rich media music and video, user generated content lists, as well as integration with existing BigPond movie and music services.
