IGN Entertainment Announces Electronic Arts, 2K Sports, Midway Games Inc., NovaLogic, THQ, Ubisoft and Vivendi Universal Games to Appear At ``IGN Live''

BRISBANE, Calif. -- IGN Entertainment, a leading Internet media and services company focused on the video game and entertainment enthusiast markets, announced the current games scheduled to appear at the event "IGN Live" from video game publishers Electronic Arts, 2K Sports, Midway Games Inc., NovaLogic, THQ, Ubisoft and Vivendi Universal Games. IGN Live, a two-day event inspired by and celebrating IGN.com's video gamer lifestyle, will take place Oct. 22-23, 2005 at Southern California's Anaheim Convention Center, and is being produced in partnership with the events company Action Media.
IGN Live invites gamers to "Be the Game" and play the latest titles from top publishers at hundreds of gaming stations. Gamers can also compete for prizes in tournaments featuring EA's Battlefield 2, Microsoft Game Studios' Halo 2 and Valve's Counter-Strike: Source. Attendees will be able to view trailer exclusives in the Dolby HD Theater, a venue that seats over 250 people and is equipped with high definition video and Dolby Digital 5.1 high definition sound.
An exclusive seminar, in association with the Game Developers Conference, will tell gamers "How to Break into the Game Industry." Other live panels will be conducted by IGN Entertainment editors who will be interacting with personalities across video games, movies, music and technology.
