Teradata Achieves ''Powered by SAP NetWeaver®'' Certification; SAP NetWeaver Certification Supports Customers Adopting Service-Oriented Architecture from SAP and Teradata

DAYTON, Ohio -- Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR), today announced that it has completed "Powered by SAP NetWeaver(R)" certification for Teradata Application Platform 1.1.3. This certification complements Teradata's recent BW-UDC certification for Teradata Driver for JDBC 3.2. As an SAP(R) Global Technology Partner, Teradata provides customers the ability to easily leverage existing investments in solutions from SAP and Teradata.
SAP NetWeaver is the technical foundation of mySAP(TM) Business Suite solutions, SAP xApps composite applications, partner solutions and customer custom-built applications. It is also now the technical foundation of the Teradata Application Platform and enables SAP and Teradata customers to achieve a service-oriented architecture. It is a business process enabler that allows companies to integrate multiple systems and data, minimizing the need for costly custom integration.
