iRise Standardizes on Intraware's License Delivery and Management Services
Business Wire, Sept 26, 2005
ORINDA, Calif. -- Intraware, Inc. (Nasdaq:ITRA) today announced that iRise (www.irise.com), the world's leading application definition software and services company, has standardized on Intraware's new License Management module for the SubscribeNet(R) service with the launch of iRise(R) 5. SubscribeNet is the industry's leading entitlement management, software delivery, and channel management service. This includes immediate 24/7/365 Web access to personalized and secure license key generation, proactive email notifications, and the ability for end users to manage and generate their own license keys online based on strict entitlement rules provided by iRise to SubscribeNet.
"iRise has developed proprietary licensing algorithms that are integral to the way customers use and obtain value from our software," said Steve Brickley, executive vice president of products at iRise. "iRise had previously selected Intraware to deliver software and documentation -- when their new Licensing Management module became available, we knew it would be a natural fit for our business. The SubscribeNet licensing capabilities allow us to fully leverage our own proprietary algorithms while eliminating the need to manually generate license keys."
"Collaboration on iRise's license key generation project was done using the iRise Application Simulator(TM)," said Dr. Richard Northing, Intraware's Chief Operating Officer. "Use of the iRise application definition platform for customizations to the SubscribeNet service allowed Intraware to quickly understand iRise's configuration needs, helping them to save additional resources that would have been spent on time-consuming manual license generation."
