Business Wire, Sept 26, 2005

SAN MATEO, Calif. -- TAK Imaging said today it will present at this year's Digital Imaging '05 Conference, an annual gathering of top digital photography executives hosted by InfoTrends/CAP Ventures, a leading market research and consulting firm for the digital imaging and document solutions industries.

Presenting on Thursday, September 29, Arvind Kumar, Director of Business Development for TAK Imaging, will discuss recent industry advances that are transforming the photo printing experience for consumers today. The company's recently introduced TAK S1 photo printer controller, for example, increases the output performance for digital prints by four to five times over currently available solutions.

"One by one each of the essential customer needs -- for greater speed, improved print quality, ease of use and device-to-device printing convenience -- are being addressed with new solutions," said Kumar. "Over the next two years this will create an explosive and insatiable demand for photo printers and the solutions that power them."

Kumar will join executives from HP, Eastman Kodak and Agfa Photo Corp. in the conference session, Photo Printing for the Masses -- It's All about Location, to discuss how consumer print habits are likely to shift in the coming years based on the latest market and enabling technology developments.
