MatrixOne to Discuss the Importance of Aligning Customer and Regulatory Requirements Throughout the Product Development Process at Taiwan Customer Day 2005

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- MatrixOne, Inc. (NASDAQ: MONEE), a leading provider of collaborative product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions for the value chain(TM), today announced that it will be holding Taiwan Customer Day 2005 on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at the Yong Chung Room in the Westin Taipei in Taiwan, Republic of China. The conference is for MatrixOne customers and attendance is by invitation only.

The focus of this year's conference will be on the benefits of using PLM to align customer and regulatory requirements with the product lifecycle. Specifically, sessions will look at using PLM as a solution to the environmental compliance requirements for RoHS, WEEE and ELV; at using PLM to accelerate design and design to manufacturing (D2M) processes in the semiconductor industry; and at using PLM to help manage the synchronous design of certain electronic products.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from leading companies such as Promos Technologies and Asia Forging Supply Co. Ltd. on how successful implementations of PLM solutions have helped them improve their internal processes, reduce costs and get products to market faster.
