Dave Matthews Band Headlines In-Game Music Soundtrack of EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour® 06

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Electronic Arts (Nasdaq:ERTS) today announced that 'Stand Up (For It)' from the Grammy-winning multi-platinum rock group, Dave Matthews Band, will headline the in-game music soundtrack of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR(R) 06. The soundtrack is complemented by smooth electronic tracks from The Supreme Beings of Leisure, Thievery Corp and David Holmes, which are designed to enhance the musical atmosphere on the green.

"This is the first time we've had a song in a videogame, but it seems appropriate because we're all fans of Tiger and EA SPORTS. So it feels natural that, if we were going to end up in a video game, it would be next to him. When we were recording 'Stand Up' in the studio, everyone had this reaction that it reminded them of sports. So I think it was the only song that would really be right for the game," said Dave Matthews.

"I've been a huge fan of the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR game for years. Playing the game is a nice way to wind down after a concert... when we're riding on the bus, I'll play it instead of watching TV. The Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 06 in-game music soundtrack is a part of the EA SPORTS(TM) TRAX music initiative that EA debuted in 2001. The program is dedicated to bringing gamers the hottest music through EA's videogames.

In Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 06, gamers will attempt to settle the old debate of just who is the #1 Golfer of All Time. They'll play golf legends such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Ben Hogan on their terms and in their specific eras (equipment, clothing and all). However, Tiger Woods is also there and is after the same goal. It's your job to find him, stop him, and ultimately supplant him as the #1 golfer of every era. Duel with Tiger in multiple matches as he becomes your nemesis, chasing and even taunting you in every tournament.

Developed by EA Redwood Shores, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 06 will be available for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, Xbox(R) video game system from Microsoft and Nintendo GameCube(TM) in September 2005.
