Euclid and e4e Announce Strategic Integration of ASP Services; Integration Provides Customers With World-Class Remote Management and Support Services

Business Wire, Sept 6, 2005

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Euclid Inc., the leading provider of business service management (BSM) solutions, today announced that it will sell its ASP services to e4e, Inc., a next generation business process company. The sale provides e4e ownership of Euclid's entire ASP services infrastructure, operations staff, domain experience and other intellectual property. The addition of Euclid's ASP offering to e4e's portfolio provides the strongest remote management and operations services, thereby enabling e4e to gain a stronghold in the massive $36B market opportunity for outsourced infrastructure management (Source: Forrester).

Since its 2000 inception, e4e has grown to a 3,500 employee organization with revenues on course to meet the company's target of $100M by the end of 2006. With the acquisition of key companies that span across a range of industries, e4e has expanded its breadth of services and commitment to its 100 customers and is poised to become the most complete end-to-end outsourcing company on the market today.

"This integration builds on our commitment to offering solutions that address new areas of critical customer need and is the latest step by e4e to ensure that our customers experience the highest levels of functionality and simplicity," said Murrali Rangarajan, chief operating officer of e4e, Inc. "Our seamless integration with Euclid allows us to provide our customers with a holistic offering in remote IT operations, which is a tremendous value-add to our current and future customers."

As more and more Global 2000 companies look offshore to cut costs and improve productivity on the infrastructure side, many of these companies are now looking at outsourcing an array of services, including infrastructure outsourcing and operations management services. To do this requires efficient combination of varying levels of expertise, a full complement of skills, multiple tiers of support and services as well as a thorough understanding of the IT operations environment. As indicated by Rangarajan, the combination of Euclid's ASP services with e4e's portfolio is poised to deliver solutions that accomplish this goal and provide a seamless transition for customers.

According to Sateesh Andra, president and CEO of Euclid, the addition of Euclid's industry-leading remote management and problem resolution services will provide customers with intelligent visibility to give them a first-hand account of how IT is living up to its expectations.

"Euclid's industry-leading remote management and problem resolution services, coupled with e4e's offshore private-labeled technical support services, will allow CIOs and other IT stakeholders to view service reports, alerts, and trouble tickets, and IT compliance -- in real time -- via a dashboard," said Andra. "Euclid is pleased to extend e4e's core technical support portfolio to help deliver one of the most comprehensive and integrated IT remote management and support solutions on the market today."
