WellChoice, Inc. Announces Upcoming Appearance at Bear Stearns 18th Annual Healthcare Conference

NEW YORK -- WellChoice, Inc. (NYSE:WC) announced today that Michael A. Stocker, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer, and John W. Remshard, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, are scheduled to appear at the Bear Stearns 18th Annual Healthcare Conference on Tuesday, September 13, 2005.
WellChoice's presentation is scheduled to begin at approximately 11:30 AM (EST). Investors, analysts and the general public are invited to listen to this presentation over the Internet via http://www.wellchoice.com/. Visitors should click on the "Upcoming Events" page in the "Investors" section to access the link to the webcast.
To listen to the presentation on the Internet, visitors should access the site at least 20 minutes prior to the presentation in order to download and install any necessary audio software.
