Drexel Will Match Employee, Student Donations for Hurricane Katrina Victims

PHILADELPHIA -- In response to Hurricane Katrina, Drexel University will match employee monetary donations to relief efforts, Drexel President Constantine Papadakis announced.

The University has asked its employees to make checks payable to the American Red Cross, Salvation Army or AmeriCares.

The University will also match student donations. Michael Andescavage, president of the Undergraduate Student Government Association, will organize the student effort.
