Digital Defense Releases 3.4 Version of Frontline™

Business Wire, April 10, 2006

SAN ANTONIO -- Digital Defense, Inc., a provider of network security compliance and risk management services, today announced the newest release of their flagship offering, Frontline, which delivers on-demand host discovery and vulnerability assessment solutions as well as effective review and management of penetration testing results. Frontline 3.4 contains enhancements such as Vulnerability False Positive Indicator, which further supports Digital Defense's clients in the effective management of their security posture. The Frontline interface is a secure Web portal for the underlying security information management platform known as Network Security Awareness System(TM) (NSAS)(TM). Clients currently utilize the NSAS security information management platform to access auditor reports, schedule host discoveries and vulnerability assessments, and track and report on remediation progress. These tasks are performed through the Frontline interface, whereby clients can manage security compliance tasks with relative ease and enjoy a maintenance-free, service-based solution.

"As longtime Frontline users, we are always eager to see the latest enhancements to the platform," stated Wendell Ritchie, Information Technology Security Manager of Southwest Corporate Federal Credit Union. "Digital Defense continues to demonstrate their commitment to clients through continued investment in the evolution of Frontline. The Frontline 3.4 enhancements provide me with greater control of my organization's assessment data and help me to ensure that our security posture ratings are aligned with the current risk management goals of the organization. This alignment is a key element of our information security risk management strategy and additionally, is very important for our regulatory examinations. We have seen that Digital Defense is focused on providing financial institutions with the services that they need to secure their networks and efficiently manage the business risk and security compliance challenges associated with today's environment."

Frontline and the NSAS platform function together as a secure service delivery program based upon a SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) design framework. This design methodology allows Digital Defense to rapidly incorporate new services into this system as they determine additional market needs.
