Monster Worldwide to Sponsor Clarksdale, Mississippi Area Job Fair for Hurricane Katrina Survivors & Rebuild Workers

CLARKSDALE, Miss. -- Volunteers from Monster and Red Wing Shoe Company Join Forces to Assist Job Seekers and Give Them a Chance to Win ''Career Re-Start'' Packages that include Monster Resume Writing, and Salary Analysis Services, a Dell Home Computing System, and Savings on Work Boots
In conjunction with the Governor's Job Fair Network of Mississippi, Monster Worldwide is sponsoring the upcoming Clarksdale Area Job Fair to be held in Clarksdale, Mississippi on April 13, 2006. The job fair is one in a series of statewide job fairs designed to help find employment for displaced Hurricane Katrina survivors, rebuild workers and other job seekers. Monster's disaster relief efforts are a free service to both employers and job seekers. WHAT: Volunteers from Monster and Red Wing Shoe Company will be on
site at the free job fair event to help attending job seekers.
Monster volunteers will assist job seekers in developing and
posting their resumes, applying for jobs and connecting with
employers to find employment opportunities. Monster will also
help job seekers get noticed by employers and get ahead with
career advice through their give away of a "Career Re-Start"
package consisting of free Monster resume and salary report
services, plus a Dell desktop computer.
Volunteers from the Red Wing Shoe Company, one of the most
respected manufacturers of hard working shoes and boots, will
also be on hand, providing advice on the proper safety
footwear for job seekers. Red Wing will also be distributing
$20-off coupons on footwear purchases for attending job
seekers.
