Business Wire, April 11, 2006

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Dataram Corporation (NASDAQ: DRAM), a leading provider of server and workstation memory, today announced the release of a first-to-market 8GB memory upgrade for Sun Microsystems' Ultra 40 Workstation. Dataram also released cost effective 2 and 4GB memory upgrades for the Ultra 40 Workstation.

Dataram's new RoHS-compliant DRSU40/8GB, DRSU40/4GB and DRSU40/2GB are immediately available for the Ultra 40 workstations, Sun's newest AMD Opteron-based system. The Ultra 40 boasts up to two single or dual-core AMD Opteron processors and runs Solaris 10, Linux, or Microsoft Windows operating systems. The workstation has four DIMM slots per processor and with Dataram's unique DRSU40/8GB provides 32GB of memory, twice the amount available with the use of Sun's current memory options. 16GB of memory is available for a single-processor configuration.

"Enabling our customers to attain the maximum memory capacity and get the most power and performance out of their Sun systems is an ongoing priority at Dataram. In addition to providing high-capacity first-to-market products, Dataram memory options are typically priced much less than the original equipment manufacturer's memory upgrades, enabling significant savings for our customers," stated Jeff Goldenbaum, Dataram's Sr. Product Manager.
