Benchmark Technology Group Completes Epson's Scan21 Certification Program, Receives Outstanding Contribution Award; Technology Reseller Recognized as Valued Partner of Epson
Business Wire, April 18, 2006
ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- Benchmark Technology Group, a leading provider of branch automation solutions and technology management services for financial institutions, announced it completed Epson's Scan21(TM) Certification Program. This program was designed to ensure successful sales and installations of Epson's TM-J9100 banking inkjet printer. Benchmark was also recognized at Epson's fourth annual Strategic Partner Executive Conference, receiving an Outstanding Contribution Award for partners who significantly contributed to Epson's growth in 2005.
"We were proud to recognize Benchmark's success with an Outstanding Contribution Award at our annual partner conference," said Pam Rocco, Epson's senior manager of channel marketing. "Benchmark received this award for its ongoing contributions to Epson's growth in the banking industry, and we greatly value Benchmark as a driving force in this space."
As a certified reseller, Epson's Scan21 Certification Program equipped Benchmark to sell, install, support and service a complete check imaging solution at the point-of-presentment. The TM-J9100 is one of the only banking printers available that enables two-sided digital check imaging and an ID card scanner at the teller station, dramatically reducing processing costs and losses due to check fraud.
"Successfully completing Epson's Scan21 Certification Program required Benchmark to have fully-trained sales and technical personnel, considerable market and Check 21 expertise, and the infrastructure to support Check 21 applications," said Bud Weist, vice president of sales and marketing, Epson System Device Group. "Benchmark is among the first to complete the program, demonstrating the company's continued dedication to bringing value-added, Check 21-compliant technologies to its banking resellers and their customers."
"Once again, Epson has gone the extra mile in providing Benchmark with this specialized Scan21 training and support," said Rod Higbee, vice president of sales at Benchmark. "This type of program provides us with additional knowledge of check imaging applications that helps us better respond to this ever-changing Check 21 environment. We are continually looking for new, innovative ways to offer community financial institutions a complete solution. With Epson behind us, Benchmark is in a great position to continue adding value to its banking technology and supporting new business initiatives that will bring value to both of our organizations."
