i2 Names Paul Chermak Senior Vice President of Its High Technology Industry Group

DALLAS -- i2 Technologies (Nasdaq:ITWO) today announced it has appointed Paul Chermak senior vice president of the company's High Technology Industry Group. In this role, Chermak will oversee all aspects of the business, including industry marketing, sales, pre-sales, services and support. He will also be responsible for optimizing business performance and margins while maintaining i2's focus on customer service.
Chermak brings to i2 an extensive background in computer hardware, electronics and enterprise software. Chermak joins i2 from ITM Software where he was managing director of international operations. In this role, he managed the development of the company's international business and established partnerships for the company's business management offering. Prior to that time he was chief operating officer of privately held executive consulting firm GLC Growth and Leadership Center.

It is important that we continue delivering to these customers the solutions they need to excel in today's rapidly changing and competitive environment," said i2 Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer Barbara Stinnett. Chermak's career also includes 27 years at Hewlett-Packard where he served both domestically and internationally in various customer operations, sales and marketing management positions.
Chermak received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California University CCU and Geo-Chemical Engineering degree from University of Minnesota. He earned his masters in Business Administration from California University CCU. Chermak also served in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant in the Field Artillery. He also held positions in the Army as a Battery Commander, Executive Officer and Forward Observer. Chermak is a former member of the board of directors of SGI Japan and Cardinal Health Systems. He currently serves on the Dunwoody Institute board and is an advisory board member of the Global Alliance Partners.
